Barry Taylor, Brass Rubbing.
I am sure many of you will remember this scene, when Barry heads out to do a bit of Brass Rubbing one evening, while the rest of the lads go out on the pi....on the....go for a walk like.
The scene was filmed at Stanford on Soar church in Nottingham.

Below is the Medieval Brass which Tim Spall aka Barry Taylor used in the “Home From Home” episode in Series 2.
Just for all those who want to know what it is, or who it is.
“On the floor of the chancel is an engraved brass figure of a priest in robes. It is believed to be a representation of Adam de Rothley, Rector from 1354 to 1361.”
