Re: Chicken Ranch

Looks like an episode of Loose Women. And that's not a knife man, it's the background between her arm and her body. Or mebbeez it is a knife?

Re: What they called each other.

Bomber calls both Oz and Nev a "prannett" in S1 and Moxey a tosser in S3

Re: Series 1 Fourteenth Ep Theme

I was really thinking about potential "stand alone" storylines sandwiched between Ep 1 and Ep 13. I can't think of any themes that weren't covered in other storylines, i.e. arrests, UXBs, unwanted guests, footy match, runaway daughter, romantic liaisons, deserter etc. etc.

He reached his hardness apex in S3 threatening to give Yorgo a slap in front of his packing henchman.

Re: Series 2 Poll Predictions

I thought Cowboys was shite, the worst of the England eps. The fight at the end was more cartoonish than Wile E Coyote vs. Roadrunner and indulging Nail's mediocre singing was a compromise too far.

Series 1 Fourteenth Ep Theme

Imagine there had been 14 (or more) series 1 episodes commissioned. I've thought long and hard what other self-contained storylines might be used that aren't already done. Any thoughts? Personally having the lads talk bollocks in the hut for 50 minutes is more than enough, but in terms of having a s...

Re: Ally Fraser

Sounds like a fantastic night. Wish I was joining you. Hope you share some photos when you return. Ali is not associated with the Germany episodes. Best to just pull a bird called Vicki and treat her like shit. Unless the bird called Vicki happens to be a hairy Geordie lad on a stag do who drew her...

Re: Series 2 Weird parts

Not really a 'weird part', but do you think in 'Cowboys', when Nev got back on the Sunday - anybody bothered to tell him his sleeping bag had been used the neet before by a manky tramp??? I divvent knaa aboot the sleeping bag, but with that old alky glued to the fridge door all evening he must've t...

Re: Scenes we'd like to see...

True everyone has an opinion. But on this one, why would La Fren and Clem leave the ambiguity? It's clear Nev is saying "we're buddies but you don't stay in touch"

Re: Ally Fraser's henchmen

In the 70s and 90s they would have been armed with sawnoffs. In the 80s it was fisticuffs all round. No wonder the 80s were the time of the New Romantics

Re: Scenes we'd like to see...

No I don't think anything untoward happened at the christening, Nev is just intimating his annoyance that Den never kept in touch since.

Aye, Vicki... Tidy bit of tackle, no doubt but, my word, she has a lot of freckles...

:o
Very reminiscent of when Spitting Image used to show Sarah Ferguson spraying hers on through a colander.

1) The lads having a curry the night Barry shows up at the Barley Mow ("it's all right for you, you didn't have a curry last night!"). I can't imagine there being a curry house out in the Derbyshire sticks back in 1986. Maybeez it was a takeout curry 'meal deal' for 6 from Asda. 2) Oz having a skinf...
