Re: Dennis' Football Career

In one of the early episodes Dennis shows his football shooting skill when he kicks an old builders bucket on his way back to the hut. I've tried it myself, the trick is to get the top of the foot in line with the side of the bucket so the impact is spread over the whole of the foot, but still you c...

Trumps Mexican wall - who will build it?

I can just imagine the lads in the US, just finishing the bridge, when they get news of Trump being elected President.... would make a great fan fiction, could start something like this...' Dennis: Look lads, I don't think we should be packing our bags just yet, there's a chance we might get this jo...

Re: bottomless bomber!

I've had a look, and yes, there are no trousers on Bomber. Very funny the way he scratches his backside as he leaves. Bombers a big lad, needs a big pair of trousers.

Re: Cut scene from 'A Home From Home'

What pity that scene was not used. I can just see Dennis with a huge grin on his face as he delivers the last line.

Re: Are You Being Served

It was very funny, there are going to be remakes of Hancock and Steptoe, and it leads to the inevitable question, one which we've had a few times on the forum before I'm sure, that is there a chance of them re making AWP? I don't think they could get away with a one episope remake, maybe a minimum o...

Re: Summer at Thornely Manor

Enjoyed that, especially as its so hot today. I have to read these using, in my head, the characters accents. Wish I'd thought of that as a topic as well.

Eu in or out? My attempt at fan fiction

Hope you like this, let me have your comments, my first attempt. Eu in or out? Scene 1. The lads are in the drawing room at Thornelly Manor, relaxing with a few cans of beer after a hard days graft. Its the 22th of June, the eve of the EU referendum Dennis: Right, I've squared it with Ally Fraser an...

EU referendum- would the lads be in or out?

Bearing in mind the lads got the chance to work in Germany during those desperate Thatcher years, and then in Spain ( albeit by circumnavigating the law a bit), all of which would have been much harder without being in the EU, would they vote to stay in the EU today?

Re: letterbox

It always looks odd to me, perhaps they were two flats at one time? even so they'd still both use the main front door so could have had two letterboxs on that door.
