Re: Drinks - What's Yours?
I'll bet a round at the Barley Mow in 1986 for the lads probably came to not much more than £1.34 for the lot.

Re: Decisions
There's never a wrong time for a bit of Auf Pet. I know what you mean about it being tainted by you being able to quote it word for word, but if you've not seen it for a while, then it's OK. Personally, I would start with Series 2, but it's up to you. Whatever you decide, crack open a few bottles an...

I don't think Wayne would have jumped a mate's daughter. If Bomber had found out, he'd have killed him.racesgirl2000 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 2:17 pmMaybe Tracy and Wayne had a short lived relationship 5 years later

Re: Least favourite lines
Neville is series 2 when he's at Sir James' house and talking to his wife about his daughter.
"I miss her, actually".
The word "actually" in that sentence just doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

Wayne would obviously be lead singer. Oz on guitar, Moxey on drums and I can see Neville playing bass.
Barry would make a good promoter, Bomber would be the head of security and Dennis would be the manager.

He's 102. If he hangs on until December 9th, he will be 103 (stating the obvious, I know).

Ian Embleton played Colin Barnes (Des' brother) in Corrie, and also played the solicitor Malcolm Renshaw in series 3 of Auf Pet.

Here's Nev's first appearance. What would Brenda say if she knew he was posing as a truck driver called Kevin and taking young ladies out to Liverpool?
Kevin's scenes start at 5:26.

How many of the AWP cast have appeared in Coronation Street over the years? I was having a look on Corriepedia, the Coronation Street Wiki and found that Kevin Whately was in it briefly before he was in Auf Pet. https://coronationstreet.fandom.com/wiki/Kevin_(1981_character) Off the top of my head, ...

Re: Auf Pet actors in other TV shows.
I was watching Only Fools and Horses earlier, the episode Happy Returns, where Del thinks he might be the father of Rodney's latest love interest Debbie.
Anyway, the aforementioned Debbie was played by Oona Kirsch, who I found out from IMDB was in AWP series one as Heidi.

Re: Why Sunderland?
I believe Bomber switched teams as well. In series one, he says that [Bristol] City was always his team, but in the later series, he's wearing a Bristol Rovers top.
Or it might be the other way round.

I've found a website with all the recipients, and had a quick look.
Tim Healy was given the Big Red Book on 16 February 1998, his then-wife Denise Welch got one the following year.
Kevin Lloyd was honoured in 1992.
That's all I could find.
