Re: Side door on the Manor

Ah nice one. That was always a puzzler and people were looking all over for it and all the time it was a prop.

Side door on the Manor

Unsure if this was ever found but my misted memory tells me that when ally and his lawyer are discussing who would have lived in the manor in days of old they go up to small door and try it. Almost 100% sure that is not part of Beesthorp. This was discussed in depth in Yahoo and PAs site but I can r...

Re: History of the AWP Forum

Yep 2001 was a good time to be part of the Yahoo site. Loads of chat & discussions and stacks of photographs of the location and members with the cast. Most of these photos have been sadly removed over the years by their owners as they have drifted away.

Re: Series 3 & 4

I am with Addy on this one, this site is about AWP, not 1 and 2. I can remember the excitement and the anticipation when 3 came out and I loved it. Everyone knew the actors had aged and the story lines were going to be different. It was years later, GH was dead and TV as a whole had changed. The sto...

Re: (New) Redmile 1985 Pictures.

What a grandstand view the residents in the houses overlooking the car park must have had. Bet there are photos from windows. If it was today there would be videos galore on iPhone etc.

Re: Architectural Model Making

Don't agree with this. What we saw the lads doing was a few minutes of filming , what they are supposed to have done was a complete rework of the building installing lifts etc. So if the building was transformed as much as was made out then a model would have been the norm.

Re: Mrs Chatterleys Location Known!

Brilliant, unbelievable he is just seconds before mentioning finding what he is driving by. Hard luck Tim, as you said I dont think anyone would have realised that was the location due to the camera angle. It was very deceiving.
