Not really a mistake as such, but when Nev is making the yorkshire puddings, have you seen Debbie in the background pick up and start brandishing a knife from the worktop?!
I'm sure that would have been a re-take these days!

Re: Kevin Lloyd (aka Harry Blackburn)
Really enjoyed Harry in the show, and was the only introduced character who seemed to bond well with all the lads.
I guess without him we would never have had the excellent Cowboys episode.

Beer
Was watching Cowboys last night and noticed Wayne was drinking a can of what looked like Heineken lager. Just wondering what other beers/alcohol we see the actors drinking in the show. Off the top of my head.... Becks San Miguel Heineken Schnapps Fundadore Pringle's Sam Smith Bitter (Not sure which ...

Re: Bad acting? What bad acting?
The acting of the Sunderland supporter Dennis is talking to in the bar always makes me laugh, I think he's talking about being a riveter in the shipyards - he sounds half cut (or is trying to sound half cut). The bird Oz pulls in Cannibals isn't the best actress either 'A Harvey Wall Banger might he...

It was pretty awful the commentary wasn't it? I was surprised by how little thought had gone into it. Can't fault Oz's worktop removal techniques though...

Re: Pat Roach's book "If"
How did it happen? I just read it happened during 'filming', but wasnt sure of the details. There was a discussion on this forum a while back about how it was written into the filming because if he hadnt been in hospital with the injury, Den and Nev would never have met Hedley?

Does he mention how he broke his foot during filming? Seems to still be a mystery that one

Re: Kevin Whately's accent
I think in one of the bloopers you can hear his real accent at the time (the one where him and Brenda are in bed and Newcastle score)
Still can't help but think that his auf pet accent comes more naturally to him than his well spoken accent (which seems a little bit forced to me)

Re: Series 2 Weird parts
Anymore 'Weirdness' from Series 2 you lot can think of?? Not really weird, but anyone notice 'Colin' from Brittas Empire.. a few years before he was actually Colin, as the copper in the night club who knows Oz's face.. 8-) Great spot! I always knew I knew his face from somewhere but could never put...

I keep saying that 'hup hup' noise Oz makes when he's pulling away in the Zepher (much to my wifes annoyance)

Re: Kevin Whately's accent
Think you're bang on there Dan. Not a huge fan of the newer series' but Dennis comes out with a quality line in Series 3 (I think) where the fight erupts in the pool bar. I don't know if it was fully scripted or if Den was asked to rephrase it but it's something along the lines of; 'Divint fret pet,...
