Re: Ultimate Moments?
My ultimate moment is the scene at the bus stop next to the Tyne bridge. (Marjorie is taking Rod to Italy) Oz tells his son 'never forget your roots son, wherever you go you'll always be a geordie, cos this is the place that shaped ya, made ya what ya are today'. Auf wiedersehen Son. As someone who ...

Just wondering with you being from Gateshead, how long does it take to fill the tin bath?
Only kidding,

Re: A Trip to more Series 2 Auf Wiedersehen Pet locations - Newcastle
Hi Tim, enjoyed the video, lots of tidy tackle and boilers too. Well, not really boilers. I wonder how many fans know the origin of boiler. When I was a kid in England me mam would send us to the shop to buy a boiler. It's an old chicken, tough and leathery, no longer laying eggs and the only way to...

Re: Beesthorpe Hall Property Guide
My mate lives at Wallingwells Hall, near Worksop Notts. Back in the day I remember him being really excited as location scouts had visited the hall seeking permission to film AWP series 2. Sadly they chose Beeston Hall instead and the rest as they say is history. Slight consolation is we got to hear...

Thanks Tim for all of your hard work and time in doing this. Also big thanks to Deb and Colin for sharing their stories, much appreciated. I'd love to get into the old props store for a scrounge. Would turn up some interesting stuff I'm sure. Cheers from Nth Qld.

Re: favourite character
Favourite character has to be Oz. But maybe a new thread on 'is Jimmy Nail as bad in real life as many people would have us believe' is needed.... Hoping they're wrong and he is a decent bloke, I've always wanted to meet him.

Re: Not Many People Meet Big Baz - Watch Now!
Really enjoyed the 'Big Baz' video. Thanks Tim for the time and effort in doing the videos, meeting Baz is my fav so far. Very envious of you being able to sit in a pub with John, listening to his tales. He comes across as a decent bloke. A canny lad if ever there was one.

My fav part that makes me howl with laughter is when Bomber's daughter is using the toilet and Oz is guarding the door. Oz stops the man entering and says.... "You lot only have one bath a year. What, today's the day"! Cracks me up every time.

Hi from Oz, Australia not Leonard Osborne!
My first post so jumping right in the deep end hoping Dagmar will look after me if I get into difficulties! Born and raised in the UK but went to live in Australia in the mid nineties. There was nae work round our way as Maggie had shut most of the pits by then. Loved AWP from the first episode. Wor...
