Just a small topic for the vids to sit.. as in order filmed..
She was a remarkably strange yet calm lady BA.... No idea why she didn't get mad or even bat an eyelid at a car heading towards her.. im sure she heard me coming and then reacted at bloody lightning speed.. i limited myself on speed anyway as i knew...

Where Wayne buys Ingrid the necklace.
I have had another look at the bar Barry and Wayne were outside and it looks like it is the Thamers bar and restaurant. If you zoom in you can even see one of the old beer barrels under the menu and there's still a bike chained up. :P
Now, I think RHill said the building was a School, or looked like a School.
I always had it in my head that it was an Industrial Site/Building, don't know why.
I have been looking at Schools in Elstree area and nothing comes up like this. So it...
Let's see what the pictures bring now....
This one has never really been solved, and I'm still convinced this was a real bar.
It's a hell of a set for 7/8 minutes on screen.
I have been looking for clues to see if anything can make it out as a real bar, but not found owt yet.
We're talking about two bars here ... there's the bar which I imagine was near the site (the one with the pinball machine etc, featured heavily in Home Thoughts from Abroad, where Dennis made his 'Sundays were really boring when I was a kid' speech...

On watching Series 4 these past few nights, decided to have a look around Santo Domingo and the Zona Colonial where most of the filming was done. It's quite easy to track the locations down, all in the same area. I'm still looking for the Ballet...

I thought I'd have a bash at tracking down the bus Rod hops on in 'Marjorie Doesn't Live Here Anymore'. I'm a member of a 'Newcastle Pictures' group on Facebook, someone posted a picture of an old bus, so I thought, why not, I'll ask them, see what...
Looks like a 1977 Scania Metropolitan :)
Tyne and Wear PTE were second largest operator of Metropolitans, building up 150 of them between 1975 to 1977. By the mid-1980s most of the Tyne & Wear Metropolitan's were withdrawn although a handful...

I went to the Harry Potter Studio's last Thursday for my girlfriend's Birthday. Lee informed me that I wasn't too far away from Borehamwood, so I took some photographs that were used in the opening credits from Series one!
Thats why he's Breaking Away ! :D
Don't drag me into it....
