Dennis told Nev that it was too cold for the beach in bloody August man. Or somit like that. So Im guessing that Newcastle can be pretty cold even in summer ?

Timing issues are all off in S1, and to be honest I reckon back in 82 they didn't reckon in it being such a massive hit.
