In The Fugutive, why did Nev And Bomb run in a nigh on a foot o' water, when it would have been easier to go along side it?

Just watching Return of the Seven Part two and noticed something i'd not noticed before.

When Barry gets in the lift and meets Prosser and Bradshaw there's a bloke at the back of the lift on the right, talking to the bloke next to him. I'm sure it's the same bloke who we see in Harry's c & w bar. Y'know the one behind Gina Mckee who has a hat then doesn't....

I'm sure it's him!

Btw, I suspect I'm late to the party on this and its a well known fact among our tribe

Bomber didn't know before he jumped in but then says "There's nigh on a foot of water in here" but Neville still jumps in anyway with his Aladdin style slippers.

Series 4.....it's always pouring with rain both when Nev goes camping and at Croydon. Yet it's bright sunshine out there !!!! Always baffled me and i know it's not impossible but just seems like they picked the wrong days to film rain scenes !!!

In 'Marjorie Doesn't Live Here Anymore' when Barry arrives at Neville and Brendas house, Brenda whispers downstairs...'Who is it?...' to which Neville says, 'Barry' and then Brenda says 'Who?...' after all the time they spent in Germany, and with Brenda meeting Barry and the rest of the lads in 'The Accused', she still doesn't know who Barry is?!

There is one odd bit in 'No Sex Please We're Brickies' when Harry is cleaning out the brick joints.
Wouldn't happen! Why isn't he plumbing? And if he didn't have anything to do, surely Dennis wouldn't want to be paying Plumbers Rates for him the clean brick joints!
Also same with Barry painting before the walls rendered, wouldn't happen for same reasons as above.

I always assumed he was doing the lead flashing, which was/still is a plumbers job.

I've always wondered how all the lads can manage to get on with their jobs - whatever they're doing. At least they kept Wayne busy with his carpentry - thanks to Oz's football skills.
