Re: Funniest Line/Lines
In the end scene of 'Cowboys' before the fight with Ally's men, I love Harry's line as he sees the Jag driving towards the manor;
"I think the boys from the brown stuff have just showed up".
I don't know why it makes me laugh so much, I usually rewind it a couple of times just so I can hear it again.

I do like the whole spiel about the 'Wolverhampton & District Aqualung Society', particularly Oz "Aye, aye, the reservoir", and the newspaper later printing 'Research has shown that no such club exists'.

Oh, I have listened to that scene so many times, too. I know it by heart, as well. Only on my DVD he does not use the term "showed up", but he says "have just arrived"....The Magnificent 7 wrote: "I think the boys from the brown stuff have just showed up".
By the way, what's so funny about this line? Just curious about it. Perhaps it's me. Since English is not my "mother tongue", I cannot understand what the joke behind all this is...

Have a nice day,

Re: Funniest Line/Lines
And I just got the joke with Barry at Douglas and Jeans. "Is this aahhh 23 Emanuel Schindler House ?" When Douglas chucks him out and Barry says ..."and the lift isnt working ya know." I got it, Schindlers Lift' !!!

Around the time of the programme being aired there was a very popular programme on the TV called 'Boys from the Blackstuff' about unemployed coalminers.
The replacement of Black with Brown signifies shite basically. Harry and the lads don't rate Ally's Industrial Relations Experts at all.

Barry's reunion to do up his house. With Wayne in the pub and 2 female hitchhikers.
Barry: 'Do you play?
Pippa 'what?'
Barry: 'Ping pong Pippa'

Re: Funniest Line/Lines
When Christine Chadwick and Dennis are in the car just starting to smooch, when she screams "two horrible men". Oz and Moxey,s kippers would give a ghost a fright. Cracks me up every time.
