The Fugitive

Post by Mr Bronson's Brother » Sun Aug 03, 2014 4:18 pm

Well, 'er indoors and the little one have gone down to the grandparent's for a week. The house is spick and span, the beers are flowing and I'm watching this episode. I'm not certain that it is my favourite episode but it is certainly up there in the top 5.
The series was well into it's flow by this stage and I love the idea of seeing what the lads get up to at the weekend. It's all very realistic I think.
At the moment I'm happy as a pig in......

Yes a favourite of mine as well although hard to believe they would pick Colin up especially after not giving Wayne a lift to the site in episode 1

One of my favourite episodes, I was very surprised it didn't score better on the poll we did last year...

I always wondered why Colin was mentioned after the episode yet we never saw him again, wonder if we was ever meant to SEE him and some army lads...

Great episode. I'd forgotten it was Ray Winstone playing the part of Colin.

It's a shame Colin wasn't in more episodes. They could of used him to get rid of that nutter Magowan. I can picture the scene: Magowan is practising his darts on his own while the lads are playing pontoon at the table. In walks Colin looking furious. He walks to the dirty laundry basket and takes out one of Neville's sock and puts a few snooker balls inside it. He sneaks up to Magowan and brutally whacks him on the back of the head. Magowan collapses suddenly onto Brenda's chocolate cake. Colin screams: "I'm the daddy now!"

You constantly surprise me you do R Hill. I mean, beneath that passive exterior beats the heart of a would-be ninja.
