I started watching Series 2 from the beginning again, and I must say, I nearly had a tear in my eye at the beginning of this episode when the lads are still in Germany, the scenes from Series 1, not the 'newer tighter jeans on Barry bit'. Great instrumental music, and quite sad how it went to the wall for wor Dennis.

Talking about Barry's jeans, if you read the excellent BBC Book about AWP theres a comment in there about the weight that Tim Spall gained during Series 1 which caused a few issues when filming scenes back in Elstree that were part filmed in Dusseldorf 3 months and 3 stone previously.....

This episode is almost 30 years old now, unbelievable to think that time has passed.

I still rate this as one of the finest episodes, and I'm hoping come Feb 21st at 9pm, that many of us will be throwing in the DVD, to celebrate?
