My boss is one of those enormous arseheads who still says 'greetings' - I always pointedly reply "Hello"terryleather wrote:Carla f***ing Lane. Should be prosecuted for crimes against scriptwriting.

One day I'm gonna catch him on the way out and say "Departings!"

I used to love Bread. I've got 4 series on dvd but not sure if it's edited. Can't remember any swearing. Got the old Adrian Mole's on dvd too. Loved them back in the day. The theme tune was brilliant. 'Profoundly In Love With Pandora' by Ian Dury. Actually, I reckon that Pandora was the first girl that I fancied off the telly. I remember her wearing really long red socks.

Was watching Fawlty Towers the other night, Brilliant!
But I think that was from the seventies, or maybe the early Eighties, not sure.
Still hilarious even today though.

Well I enjoyed MASH, The Equalizer, Moonlighting, Sledge Hammer, from the 80's and 70's ( well I was born in 73 so reruns in 80's lol) Porridge, Fawlty Towers to name but a few.

Steptoe & Son.... Open All Hours, Porridge, Rising Damp. Many of my mates were Monty Python fans but I never was into it. Yeah I know, not all 80's, but classic old school Brit comedy nonetheless.

Loved a lot of 80s TV shows. Kids TV shows like Press Gang, Grange Hill, Dodger, Bonzo & the rest, Streetwise.
Kids programmes back was a lot more hard hitting and actually treated the viewers with respect.

I also loved One Foot In The Grave. Still laugh at it now.

Does anyone remember Telly Addicts with Noel Edmonds?
I remember one time the winning family's specialist subject was AWP. I'd love to see that again.
