Re: Lovejoy Remake...
Getting back to this anyway.
It's about the actor that will play Lovejoy, I mean who could do it like Ian?
If the writing was sharp and witty like before, filmed in the right setting like before and has money spent on it to make it quality, it could work.
It's not about remaking, it's moving forward and making another, something Doctor Who has done really well at, imo.

Re: Lovejoy Remake...
Aye Doctor Who does it well.. but the fans of it are used to it by now.. McShane is the only Lovejoy as far as im concerned.. just as Jimmy is the only Oz.. etc etc...

Re: Lovejoy Remake...
My opinion is this: if BBC/ITV are wanting to remake the programme Lovejoy, doesn't that tell you TV goers are wanting a return to old shows because television these days is now as bad as you can get???...

Happy Days!!

Correct. Just watching him in the trailers was enough to convince me that the return wasn't worth my time in viewing.AWP Corsa Tim wrote:Anything with bloody Shane Richie in was bloody awful..
