Was on the old penis coladas last nite and been on the bitters today. Butty Bach and sheep dip, both nice.
Martini and lemonade now, shortly to be followed by red red wine, then conk out in bed.
I hate Monday's.........

Picked up this today, very acquired taste.
It smells odd and when getting it in your gob the taste is a bit peculiar, but the aftertaste is really nice.

On closer inspection it's from Australia!

Bought a bottle of Limoncello. Very nice. Have it with lemonade or gingerbeer. Topping on your dessert, with your cornflakes. Ya know the sort of thing

I won a bottle of that at the school raffle last Christmas. I didn't like it. Too much like washing up liquid. Too lemony.

A mate of mine has a pub in the Yorkshire Dales & he serves a cracking pint called Guzzler from The Pennine Brewery... not all that strong, but a lovely flavour. When I'm at home, though, I just stick to the cooking lager... Galahad from Aldi. All lager tastes identical, so I just go with the cheapest (as long as it's 4% or over). My local Aldi sells 4 tins of the stuff for two quid, which works out at about 60p a pint (curiously this is about the same price I was paying when I was watching the 1st series of Auf Pet back in the early 80s). As it's Friday, I'll be picking some up today & settling down for a few episodes this afternoon.

Canny drink like?
I'll give it a bash!

When I lived in Spain we shopped at 'DIA' for certain stuff including the lager. It was 25 cents a can which was/is about 15/20p a can! We had some friends over one year and I brought a full case round of 24, costing about £4! He took the right piss out of me until he had a can! He couldn't believe how good it was! Sadly 'DIA' shut down and I had to upgrade to 'Mercadonas' own brand at about 30p a can!....

Bought some espresso liqueur for Xmas to try. Has anyone had it before and if so do you have it neat or with a mixer. I was thinking of putting some baileys in it.

After a good day of celebrations........ when you think you've had enough..........
Try it over some decent ice cream for a real treat, with a Baileys in coffee on the side.
Cheese n biscuits to follow then repeat.
