I'm going to copy a friends post from Facebook, this has helped many.

Guys, calm down! The FTSE closed 200 points higher than a month ago, the £/$ is virtually the same as in February this year, the £ is stronger against the euro than a year ago, every person I know that voted out did so knowing that the next 2 to 4 years will be challenging, the goal is for the long term.
Look what's happening/happen in the EU over the past few years, Greece has been bankrupted, 40% unemployed in Spain (under 25s), young people in the UK have little or no chance of ever buying their own home, the far right in France, Germany and several of the smaller countries has risen to their highest popularity and the EU pushed it to the limit with Russia!
You cannot say that the UK did not give the EU any warning, Our PM went there told them of the feeling within the UK, he tried bloody hard for several months to get some small movement in there stance and basically they give him the finger, what did they expect?
And the experts? They are so good at their jobs that even at midnight last night were so confident of a remain vote they created a false high in the markets, the only regret I feel today is that Cameron resigned, I'm not a fan of his, but he should have stayed and saw out his term, bit weak of him really, now let's get on with the future, reassure anybody that has settled here and made a contribution is of course part of us and won't be sent packing, that's not the British way, have faith and let's get on with the task.

Hear, hear - pity the "Luvvies" only accept democracy on their own terms.

I won't be getting involved in any slanging matches, only a good debate if fans want. I always say what I see, it may not be true or false and I'm not taking any sides.

What I'm seeing now in the media is scare tactics, lots of them. It was easy to see The Guardian for instance was pro 'remain' which I believe is unfair in the media and all should remain neutral.

Anyway.....

The pound has plummeted. No doubt interest rate will soar. Great news to all of us with mortgages.
Did these people realise what voting out would do to the country. It's alright for the oldies panicking about their pensions, but they'll soon start moaning when they can't get their favourite teabags shipped in.........

Also agree Lee about Cameron, but the opposition doesn't offer much alternative.
Boris Johnson running the country. Lord help us.first time I saw him I thought it was Matt Lucas from little Britain dressed up!

Short term problems.
The rest of the world will not change its exports or imports with the U.K. Markets are panicking right now, and the media is using scare tactics. I'm not happy like everyone else, but don't believe the lies or hype. Changes are happening and it'll get better.

I very much disliked how mega rich celebs and companies were asking us to vote 'remain' when all they were looking after was their own wealth. Beckham for instance could lose half of his 250 million and still have 125 to piss about with. His comments were useless to us mere mortals.....
