Strange you should mention this, as I had an Email from The Minder website owner/runner today saying how he loved the site.... :D

I'll watch it if the mrs isnt around, used to have the theme tune in a few playlist's on PC and mrs would tire of hearing it, just as she does with AWP tracks.. I do like Minder though.. i remember Gary appearing in it and Jimmy!

I think Tim Healy was in an episode wasn't he? He didn't say much, just stood around and looked hard.

Yes Tim was in Minder, playing a heavy after a pop star. He played a cockney in it.
It's not Tim's finest acting moment.

If anybody wishes to dig them out, the AufPet lads were in the following 'Minder' episodes :

JIMMY NAIL - the Car-Lot Baggers (series 4)
TIM HEALY - A Star is Gorn (series 4)
GARY HOLTON - A Number of Old Wive's Tales (series 5)
PAT ROACH - Return of the Invincible Man (series 6)

Other AufPet connections are Ray Winstone, who was in a number of early episodes (inc. the Car Lot Baggers),and James Booth (Kenny Ames) who was in 2 episodes (as 2 different characters - happened a lot in Minder for some reason!)

I watched The Car Lot Baggers about a month ago, and Jimmy was quite good in it, playing a Gypsy. I guess even now the storyline is quite risque so to speak, but the writing was spot on, and went to prove that not all people are what you think they are....
