Re: The Bill
Good work by them.
Recently a lot of owners of shows have tried too hard to make money, when you can get them online for free. Its good to know, some people are learning.....
I'm sure there will be ads running to support the show.

Re: The Bill
it was still really good when it went to the hour long episodes, late 90s early 2000s.
It went downhill in the last few years as it tried to be all CSI, with its shakey camera work and incidental music

Last time I watched it Tosh and Burnside were in it. And I think a tasty blonde pc called Polly. Whenever that was.

Re: The Bill
Enjoyed The Bill, having been in "The Job" for over 20 years, but must say - "Hill Street Blues" was the one that made it for me. Also, it was on when AWP was showing as well. Two brilliant shows on a Friday night - perfection.!! The number of times I was late for my shift on a Friday night was unbelievable. The Line - Lets Be Careful out There - has to be a classic, and (don't tell anybody?) had a fling with a nurse who looked just like the Public Defender Joyce Davenport (Veronica Hammill) before I met the current love of my life, who, incidentally is a big AWP fan, like me.

ah yes...she was also the lovely Debbie in 'Big Deal' in the early 80's. She was only about 15.....but it was 'alright' as I was only about that age myself!

Re: The Bill
Just browsing through the sites and found the link between The Bill and AWP. Someone may have picked up on it before but Harry Blackburn, the plumber is none other than DC Tosh Lines, actor, the late Kevin Lloyd. Was great as Harry in AWP. Sadly missed
Re: The Bill
aarghh it's already catching me up! Just up to last DVD of series 1
Might have to speed watch a load so I can watch the ones not on DVD when we get to them (years maybe?)
