Shane Spall's book

Post by poxeymoxey » Tue Aug 20, 2013 12:42 pm

Started reading Shane Spall's book a while ago, and even though I haven't yet finished it, it makes interesting reading. It gives you a insight into Tims illness, and I can understand why the RNLI is their chosen charity!

Yes, I have it.
I am not a reader, but I loved this book. I bought it last year in Devon and read and read until I was through it. I have to buy a book I really want to read, otherwise its a waste of time with me.

I loved it, and the little bits about Pet were great.
You do get a good bit about the Hamburg Filming and how hard it was for them when Tim wasn't the huge actor he is now.

She is working on part 2 as we speak.

Good news about Part 2. Also didn't realise they were such good friends with Brenda Blethyn, obviously because of Secrets and Lies.

Will most certainly be getting the DVD of the series. I remember watching one episode and thought, mmm, looking forward to next weeks episode and then there wasn't one! Maybe we caught it just as they moored up for the winter and there wasn't any for a while. Always thought it strange.
