Other TV Shows the lads have been in.
Outside Edge-Tim Spall, made by Central and filmed in Nottingham, so probably felt like a 'home from home'.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show and wish it was repeated on TV more often.
Heartburn Hotel-Tim Healy made by the BBC in Birmingham, always seemed to me to be Fawlty Towers and Crossroads crashed together, I found it to be immensely funny. Look very carefully to spot the lady who made that 'killer' offer to Grainger in S3 about him 'ever being in Pontefract'.
What other shows do we like on here?

Re: Other TV Shows the lads have been in.
I know they only make one off appearances, but as its my second favourite TV show ever I'll say 'Minder'. Jimmy Nail, Tim Healy, Gary Holton and Pat Roach all appear in Minder in one off appearances in different episodes. Jimmy's appearance is probably my favourite, also I've always loved that Jimmy's character shares the same name as me, as sad as that is.

'Common as Muck' Tim Healy (with Edward Woodward, Neil DUdgeon & others as dustmen was pretty good in the mid-90's, though Tim's character was killed off towards the end of series 1 so didn't return for the 2nd series. One of the othe bin-men was played by DI Andy Haynes from AWP S4, don't know the actors name off the top of my heed.

I don't think I've watched Common as Muck, will scour Youtube for it later on!
Just remembered two more for Tim Spall, 'Neville's Island' and 'Vacuuming Completely Naked in Paradise', salesman seem to be his forte!!
Warning: A lot of expletives and some 'interesting' driving

Common as Muck series 1 is great, series 2 lost its way and ran out of legs.
Hearburn Hotel anohter cracking series, written by John Sullivan (i think) which also co starred Clive Russell, who played Gary Turnbull in pet series 4.
Frank Stubbs promotes starring Tim Spall, another good seires that i would love to see again.

Yeah, Dan Slider's right. The first series of 'Common as Muck' is well worth checking out. The second ( without Tim Healy), I wouldn't bother with.BarryTaylor wrote:I don't think I've watched Common as Muck, will scour Youtube for it later on!

Also 'Frank Stubbs Promotes', with Tim Spall as a ticket tout/small-time promoter is well worth watching, if you can find it. I had a couple of episodes on commercial VHS, not sure if it ever made it to DVD though...

It probably been mentioned on other threads but Tim Healy was in an Episode of Phoenix Nights as a racist folk singer.
Also he was great in Boys from the Bush.
