Soprano's I've never seen,but fancy.Trouble is,after Breaking Bad I think anything will be a letdown.
Both The Wire and Dexter I turned off after half of the first episode.
A couple of good ones I stumbled across on Netflix were Rev and Trivia (the latter might have been on Lovefilm, can't remember). Not saying buy the dvds but might be a giggle (as Wayne would say) if you've got Netflix anyway.

All of the latest American TV series I've not seen, even though I'm sure i would like them if i watched a few.
I just cannot commit to 10 odd series (seasons as the yanks say) not enough hours in the day.

I've just ordered the 2nd series of Boon. I hope it'll be worth it considering the last popular show I tried wasn't up to my liking. I also wouldn't mind giving The Wire a try.
GET BAAAAAAAACK!

Well, I've never seen "Breaking Bad", for example. Don't even know what it's about. Never heard of it, as a matter of fact...
Could only watch a small excerpt of "24" - and I really didn't like it. It's a series I would never watch voluntarily! Could never understand what people find so great about it!
Have never seen "The X Files"...
As far as films are concerned, I have never watched a "Jurassic Park" film. And none of the "Star Wars" films, either. And I do not believe that I will ever feel the urge to watch a film like "Titanic"!!

Breaking Bad is about an American who copes with cancer, family and life the best way he can. His solutions see him spiral into a universe that leads to chaos and death, much death. Its shocking, frightening and hugely addictive. Not everyones cup of tea mind !

Wasn't Skyler a moody auld boot? I mean, her husband is bringing $'000's of dollars a week and I didn't think she smiled once. What's "Jack o'clock", then? When is that?Tracy wrote:Jack o'clock here.

I am not too familiar with British slang terms... I only know about one o'clock, two o'clock, etc.
Information, please, anybody?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Popular Tv series/Films you've never seen.
As Musta has mentioned them on the films thread, I feel duty bound to confess here that I have never seen a 'Police Academy' film.
