Re: After series 2
I don't think there ever has been.
Unless Ian, Dick or Stan had a plan for Series 3 in the 80's, then nothing has ever been released.
The novel by Fred Taylor was based on early scripts so we can assume, and that ends with Oz winning the lottery.

Re: After series 2
Yeah, there was always a plan for a Series 3 ironically involving them working for an embassy in the USSR as was, I think it would have come out around 1988.
I imagine they would have got to Tangiers, with Ally himself now on the run and the others would have been sent back to Spain by the relevant authorities.
We know Dennis kept the money because Neville asks him about it in Series 3 he says it went on '2 divorces and a pair of shoes'. Although the pedant in me notes that out of the £25k most of that was to pay the lads for the work on the Villa, and it left £3k back as insurance....

Re: After series 2
We also know the marriage between Barry and Hazel went tits up whilst Moxey probably finished his porridge upon returning to England as he was now working for Startup at the start of Series 3. It also turns out Marjorie's relationship with her Italian boyfriend didn't work out if she's living in Carlisle in the third series.
GET BAAAAAAAACK!

Re: After series 2
Would Kenny Ames boat have outrun the Spanish Coastguard/navy and got to Tangier? I doubt it.

Re: After series 2
Even Kenny didn't know, he's only 'pissed around in the port' before....
Ironically I reckon Ally would have had more luck driving back into Spain. He was able to fly out of Switzerland and then out of Italy to get to Tangiers without being picked up which tells me he wasn't a wanted man everywhere.

Re: After series 2
That was a major plot hole for me. A 'heavy duty villain' like Ally can't find someone to smuggle cash to him? Big Baz? Pamela? Any other number of trusted flunkeys? Why use that tanhand with a flower pot on his head and pay 20 PER CENT (BarryTaylor wrote:Even Kenny didn't know, he's only 'pissed around in the port' before....

Re: After series 2
Maybe Ally got arrested, sent back to the UK where Vicki and the guys testified against him in court and sentenced to 12 years behind bars
Oi oi, what's the word then
Re: After series 2
Vicki would have known better than to testify against him. She may have been thick, but not that thick !

Re: After series 2
Yeah, it's a shame how so many loose ends were never tied-up/explained...
Surely they're be a decent market for a book, bridging (no pun intended!) the gaps between series 2 and 3?
Cheers,
Mike.
