Wasn't the scene with Oz speaking with Rod in his bedroom also filmed but never made the final cut. It's also mentioned in the book, it was Rod who told Oz that the money wasn't kept in the tea pot and not Majorie, as Oz went to wake the bairn.

Alan's car was a Ford Cortina, not a Capri

In Private Lives, when Nev asks Wayne where the rest of the lads are, he's told that Moxey has gone back to the UK.

Interesting fact regarding Mox. Maybe they had to include his character in the filmed version of the story because Pat Roach couldn't make the shoot.

When Barry is telling Wayne about him being engaged before, it was a West Brom season ticket and not Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Also in the club Nev plays pinball, something never seen on the screen

On screen Nev tells Oz about Barry and Wayne pulling the stewardesses, but the book has the roles reversed. It's Nev who tells Oz to be quiet as he's on a high score on the pinball machine.

When Barry and Wayne are in the hotel lift,

Barry: Do I look alright?
Wayne: Did you have to wear them sandals? And your socks?
Barry: They're comfortable. Don't undermine me confidence, not now.

In the book MaGowan never stayed in the hut, neither was Colin ever mentioned or did the lads go on a fishing to trip to the naffin' country.

When Wayne gans to the Tivoli, the novel has Dennis backing out of the date at the last minute. Wayne had organised the blind date as way of recompense for spoiling Dennis's weekend previously. Oz still went in the end though.
Also Wayne and Heidi leave Uli and Oz alone, they disappear back to Heidi's gaff.

Oz later tells the lads he's going into business with Uli as she has a few quid saved up, plus he shows them the engagement ring he'd bought for her.

The lads actually paint the hut yellow, as it says Dennis awoke in the night, probably down the smell of the freshly painted but. Then he noticed Oz wasn't in bed and all his things were gone. He'd left Dennis a note explaining he was off with Uli, and for Dennis to tell Majorie that he stay in Germany had been extended.
It was when Oz was leaving the hut when Kemal came after him with the knife, as the commotion awoke everyone.

Nothing in the novel about the rat eating Brenda's sisters cake.

That's pretty much it. The odd conversation appears with a couple of the lads that never made it screen.
