Cut Scene Again?

In 'Return of the Seven Part Two' when they are at Barry's house working away on the back extension....Wayne is talking about how he pulled 'Pippa and Linda' etc, and how it all went south.

He tells Moxey that he wasn't there...and Bomber says...

"But I was, and I heard them turning you away....."

I have always thought this didn't make sense...Another cut scene?
Or was this just a scene written to squeeze how Pip and Lin buggered off and left Wayne in the proverbial.....

Just noticed this post.

As most writers do often overwrite things (John Sullivan certainly did), Aufpet may of originally overran for 55 minutes or more before they edited it down to 50 mins before broadcasting. Remove those weaker scenes and tighten it up. So anything is possible. Could be a 'cut scene'. Those girls did just simply disappear from the storyline.

Did they not bugger off by checking out of the hotel early without paying their bill? Wayne tells the receptionist to buzz them for breakfast, so when exactly did Bomber hear them turning Wayne away?

From the way Bomber talks he makes it sound as though he heard them on Check-in to me.. or shortly after..

Yes, its not explained how Lynda and Pippa got to the hotel with Wayne in the first place, is it? Wayne was pissed but sobered up fast back at Barry's and "done the business down the hotel so whos in for a good nights kipp?" As Bomber was in, Im pickin he checks in with Wayne and Dennis. I guess its when Wayne knocks on the girls door to try it on, that they tell him to get lost and thats when Bomber, being in the next room hears "them turning you away!"
