Things you've done purely because of AWP
Many of these may already have been covered in the things I've learned from watching AWP, or talking Pet in real life threads, but lets see how we get on.
What things have you done in the past 30 years or so that you would probably not have done had you not been a Pet fan? Buy a VW camper van, train to become a brickie, read up on the history of Native Americans that sort of thing.
Aside from posting on here, and visiting Redmile and Knipton, I read a book of Rupert Brooke's poetry, purely to find out what Ally had been referring to.

Thanks to AufPet, I took an interest in Jimmy Nail's music and Boon because Elphick was in AufPet. I also began drinking Newcastle Brown and Becks along with wanting to visit Hamburg because they filmed the German high street scenes there.
GET BAAAAAAAACK!
Re: Things you've done purely because of AWP
Doing DIY jobs and decorating. When I watch the series, it inspires me to get some jobs done, eg put up a new fence recently, then decorated the living room. Usually in the evening after work. I finish at 10 at the latest by having a pint or two at my local, think of the lads in the hut and club when I do!

Well if it inspires you that much I've got 3 bedrooms which could do with a re-vamp, I'll put my auf pet soundtrack on and you can whistle while you work!haha!

As long as she doesn't say, "Bedroom? What bedroom?" when I get there.

Chatting up girls by saying "Cos a girl like you does have a boyfriend" in a Wayne style, and usually getting the same response Wayne gets from Dagma!
