The only other time I've heard 'pro tem' is in 'Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads'. I remember hearing it at least twice on that. The writers must like that word.

Never noticed that & I've watched all of the WHTTLL episodes several times (though nothing like as many times as I've watched AWP). I'll have to keep an eye out (or should that be ear out)

Fairly sure the ‘Bell and Dragon’ was used as a local pub in both The Likely Lads and Auf Pet. I read somewhere they (Ian and Dick) liked to use the names of real pubs and people in their scripts.

I think you're getting confused with The Fat Ox. Neville mentions to Brenda that there's a coat of arms above the bar "doesn't mean Alf Tonks is in line for the throne"

There is the use of Barry being called a Radish in Series 1 from Wayne & Bomber's daughter and again in Series 3 when Inspector Colin Bishop gives his statement as “No way you’re a bad guy, you’re just a radish who got rich.”

"We’ve played golf together. He’s had dinner in my house on more than one occasion…and he calls me a radish!"
