I do think Series 1 looks a lot older than Series 2 even though it was only filmed 2/3 years prior.

Alan's Capri stands out quite a lot in Series 1.....

My kids do watch it with me, but very rarely question many things.
It's not because I have told them, I think they figure it out for themselves.

Seeing people smoking in Pubs. It wasn't that long ago that it was legal but it looks strange to see now.
