Hi all, just thought I'd share this with you, a scene that never sadly made it on to our screens

Strange how even though its never been on screen and is likely to never be seen ever, you can visualise everything to the last detail because you've seen the Thornely Manor episodes that many times.
Sadly, after several enquiries over the years, it's believed that anything that didn't make the final cut was binned, but I always hold out hope that it wasn't. You can be assured I'm always searching.....

You'll search, and you'll search,
but you'll never find,
those scenes that will bring you peace of mind.
Take your troubles to the Manor.
Get down on your knees and pray,
those cut scenes from Thornley Manor,
may appear for us one day.
Elvis has left the building. "Thank you, thank you very much..." 8-)

What pity that scene was not used. I can just see Dennis with a huge grin on his face as he delivers the last line.

Timing issues, always is.
Got to get those 10 minutes of ads in, at least it was only 10 minutes in the 80's! It's like 20 now!

Aye, same in NZ. You used to be able to make a cuppa with a minute to spare. Now you can have a cuppa and make the toast as well. Jam or Marmite ?

You can have a brew, pop down the shops, get the washing on, have a shower and wash the car these days and the ads would still be on when you sat back down!

I got pregnant once at the start of an ad break.
I gave birth just as the programme came back on....
