My missus told me off big time today and I don't even know what I said.
She says I do it every day,but I thought I only did it very occasionally,and always when context allows.I think I might have said "why twice".

This is serious divorce threats.

Anyway,thought I'd come to the bosom of my family to get it off my chest.

I see what you mean about the divorce threat. But hey, give her another chance. Perhaps school her on the correct reply. Either we or I liked it the first time, depending on circumstances. Or perhaps when she has a go say 'what's the beef here?'

To be fair, there are lines we all must use, as with the thread. It's just become part of our psychi loike. I very innocently reacted to a piece on za television news this morning. It said about somit being fatal. So I naturally responded, "Fatal ? How fatals fatal ?" The missus gave me her usual stare of contempt.
