Loved 'Harry Monkey Wrench Blackburn' ! "Come on then, blow by blow account." Such a shame he couldnt go to Spain. It was a bit of pisser like because the lads were bound to need a plumber over there !
A fantastic character and so well played. Loved his every scene !!!

Aye Joe was a shocker for me, only found out about a year ago.
I always remember him from the film 'The Edge' with Anthony Hopkins....
Great film.

I have to agree with Harry Blackburn, he would have fitted in so well with the rest of the cast, infact one of my favourite characters across the whole series and a great shame he wasn't included in later episodes.

Great thread. Maybe it should have it's own location on the main information header at the top of the page along with about the show and locations. Can't believe Bomber has been gone nearly 9 years.

I used to have a page before I revamped the site.
I can get it back online, but there is no room in the links at the top.

Would be good to see it as a link as it seems to fall down the thread on the forum page.

Put it on the board index as "Sticky".You could have lost cast members and lost (demolished locations maybe?)

Not quite sure if I am putting this in the right thread, but just watching the series Hamish Macbeth on DVD and Morag Hood (Joy Chatterley) appeared in the episode I have just watched. Never realised she was Scottish, born in Glasgow, even with a name like Morag!. You can't tell from her AWP appearance!

never will miss anyone/anything as much as we missed Wayne and Bomber, they were sorely missed.
Could that be because the rest were there while these two went missing?

I wonder why the departure of Bomber wasn't made known in series 5?

Well, he was written into the early scripts, and I personally think it was out of respect....to not mention what was happening.
