Re: Auf Wiedershen Pets: Our Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall
Sammy Johnson is a noteable absentee, thought he played the part well and was no age at all (49 I believe). sad to read James Booth's name as a)I was a big fan and b)his year of birth and death is the same as my father.
Re: Auf Wiedershen Pets: Our Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall
I've just watched series 4 and the two one hour specials (series 5), i thought it only fair to give them a fair shot, despite a lot of reservations from others on the credibility of these series.
But i must comment that the final scenes with Dennis, Oz and Nev on the back of the boat as they are going back to Jarmany and Dennis gets out the old photo he found from the very first series (even if it wasn't the two photos Barry, or should i say the German guy Barry got to take the pics), but it was the end and i found it, as soft to say quite emotional knowing Bomber and Wayne were gone and so was the youth of the gang, very poignant moment and shed a small tear when you look from the end looking right back to the beginning and looking on the journey we'd all been on with them.

sadly Rashied Karapiet died last week, he wasn't well known to many, he played the Indian waiter in series 1 (the senior one, not the 'please' one!) however my wife and I both knew him on a personal level for many years

Been a huge fan of the show for years but had no idea Vera had died all them years ago and the original plan was for Dennis to be still with here in series two

Re: Auf Wiedershen Pets: Our Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall
She got ill, couldnt do Auf Pet, but recovered and made a few other things such as 'Worzel Gummidge Down Under', and then sadly past away around 89 as Tim said.

Re: Auf Wiedershen Pets: Our Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall
Wall updated. Have included the ones posted here and a couple of others i've discovered. I think the wall is missing a few names of the 'older' cast members from years past. But can't find any info on them.
