Did ya not like Prince Stefano then ? I thought he was a proper gentleman like. Loved his line to Hazel, "Perhaps I take you against the rail uh?" And more so her reply, "Anytime he likes !" Good thing he didnt offer to take her against the Dyke !!!

Mine is in Cowboys at the very beginning of the scene where Nev & Brenda have Norma over for Sunday Dinner.

Nev drops the puddings and Brenda & Norma are obviously stood on their marks waiting for their cue.

Just a bit clunky.

Look at the bit where he throws a stone at Wayne, is that realistic?
the bit where he pretends to be German ... realistic?
the number of times he talked about the war?
the green card insurance?
the car door not locking?
the way he talks about his wife sleeping with other men?
I just feel he's not real. Perhaps because it was his first role and was told to play the 'joker' but there's a limit to every thing.

I have to admit, I'm from Newcastle and I haven't met anyone who is as geordie or as mad as him. But saying that, I don't get out much as I'm a bit of an introvert.

I think the most unrealistic scene of Oz is in 'The Lovers' where he walks down the street in love and clicks his feet together. That bit kind of breaks the forth wall as if he's showing the viewers. The only other time he breaks the forth wall is in series 2 when he talks to the viewers before customs tells him to spread.

But saying that, I think Oz is quite convincing in general in Germany and Thornely Manor.

Most cringeworthy moment is the last scene of Series 1 where the geordies are on the boat home. The way they all belly laugh at Den's hadrian's wall 'joke' is out of character and a feeble way to end the series.
