Auf Wiedersehen, Pet wrote:We could have Moxeys dad burying the parts he was nicking from Fords, at his allotment.
And would be good to see him on a date with a woman who looked like Billy

The series wouldn't be complete without
A) Barry being usurped in the quiz team by Denzil
B) the tender love stories of Barry's life, such as his torrid affair with Elaine Surtees and his subsequent escape from a life of drudgery.

A teenage Oz at St James Park, watching in awe as Albert Bennett scores for the Toon.
"Cor, what a centre-forward he was".

So I'm guessing this 'Prequel' would have been called 'Guten Tag, Pet'

Moxy episode would have to show him helping his dad bury stolen ford parts on the family allotment!

That actually sounds like a good title for the prequel.

I think prequels are ok if done right, like 'First of the summer wine'.. but with recent attempts like 'Rock and Chips' i wasnt too keen on seeing another after the first one.. With the lads here it could be interesting but i refer to remember them as the originals we already have.. no prequel needed.. Sorry if its a bit of a Downer me saying it, but thats my thoughts..

Yea, I would not want to actually see it done like ! But enjoying the fun of kicking the ideas aboot. Who was that woman Barry knew, walking around the house stark naked ??? Want a tidy boiler for that one !!!

I think there is nothing wrong in seeing it done then decided if we hate it or not. As we all know the history of the characters, I wouldn't be surprised if we would easily relate to and enjoy the prequel. The main worry would be - would we accept the new younger actors?
