Series 2 Weird parts

Anyone ever wonder why Kenny speaks to Hazel how he does when she phones Ally at the Hotel Marbella?? Obviously she may be chasing him there because Barry's wedding was going to be on his boat.. but what was with the way he was speaking to her? Seemed a bit out of left field....

Also, what the hell was with the boat man, how he talked.. 'I need a pee!'

Other thing, why didnt we ever see Trev at the wedding? Guessing because it was spur of the moment, like the fact we dont see Barry's or Hazel's parents..
Just seemed that Trev was all Barry had at one point, therefore making him eligable for an invite!

Other weirdness... ?? Hmmm yes, the man at the Cross Keys, When Fraser and Hallwood meet Kenny's legal eagle! Check the size and style of the glasses!! 'VERY Good Food!'

I just watched the clip, and when we go to The Cross Keys after Moxey says there wont be a dart board....check the number of glasses on the table, goes from 6 to 3 in the shot....

Maybe a new section on the site just like the bloopers. The Incomprehensible Section (with a picture of Moxey's face). I've always wondered why that Kenny Ames was speaking to Hazel like that as if she was sitting in a pram. How patronising. And Barry calls her 'kid'.

Another little Weird bit... When Mrs Bellamy goes to the manor to tell Dennis to stop work, we can all CLEARLY see Sgt Ives stood there.. yet in the next episode we hear him say to Dennis that he heard that he had to stop work.. ??? Strange.. as he was there when Dennis was told!

Not really weird, but anyone notice 'Colin' from Brittas Empire.. a few years before he was actually Colin, as the copper in the night club who knows Oz's face..

I did notice in one early Series 2 ep where they are discussing Barry and Hazel splitting up, and Wayne says "pro tem, pro tem". This is a reference to Dennis in S1E1 reassuring the other two geordies they would be in the hut "pro tem". I imagine the actors thought this was not realistic of how brickies would talk, and so Gary was poking fun at the writers.

How about when they're in Cuba and Oz jacks it up to meet Offelia. After they've been told not to see eachother like. He tells her to walk by a funny little man with a cap on, or sumit like that, who will slip her a key. [?] Anyway, the little guy is Moxey which she would have known anyway as he had been in her gaff with the lads fixing it up, and sharing meals with her. Rice and beans. "That'll make a change !" Well, I always thought it a bit odd or perhaps its this wine. I will be glad when Ive had enough !

I think that because it was the authorities who wanted to split them up (or so they thought, maybe it was just a dodgy MP Raul had a contact with) Oz thought they may be being tapped so didn't say any names. Only Oz and Ophelia were being persecuted, any other names being mentioned would drag others into it. So she knew it was Mox when he described him

Regarding the point that Gary M brought up, it's very true that the brickies in AP do come up with things that you wouldn't really hear in real life. Not just Pro-tem, but Oz seriously talking about his feelings with his girlfriend Uli and Wayne jiving on about what love feels like. Brilliantly written, but sort of weird in a way.
