Not long back I bought a couple of beers and a bag of nuts in a swanky hotel. Beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep went the cash register ... "Don't like the sound of that, Oz" I commented to no-one in particular. More blank looks but I felt quietly satisfied!
From now on I'm sticking to a worse type of bird.

We're in the process of moving offices. Today the bloke organising the move was flapping like a wet hen and stressing everyone out about it. I asked him when it had to be done by and he said Sunday. In my best west country accent I shot back: "What are you getting in such a lather about then?"

My Xbox Aufed me earlier.

I was playing FIFA 14, and I have a player on loan called Tom Carroll. He took a shot and the commentator shouted "Carroll!"; like Arthur did when he caught her and Wayne talking outside the Barley Mow.

A guy at work is always pleading abject poverty but buys an extraordinary amount of stuff from amazon (delivered to the office). The other day someone was saying they reckon his 'I'm skint' persona is a ruse to hide his wealth, so I piped up: "Yeah.... he's probably robbin' us blind this very minute."

Herr Musta, nice one !
I had fun at work this morning. Just knocking off when the caretaker came over for a chat. Then one of the staff walked in and gave him 2 bottles of Cider. The result of a conversation last week. So he said that he would enjoy those tonight as his wife was cooking something special. Someone then hinted at romantic music. Thats when I Aufd him, 'Adge Cutler and The Worzels' ? He gave me a puzzled look, "Who ?" I then got the 25K shot, "Oh you have missed out on life !"

Someone came in the bank wanting a loan for 6 grand so I retorted 'Six Thousand Pounds, half the country's in debt or living off Access cards'

They didn't get it at all. Probably watch shite like Hollyoaks.

Gave myself a proverbial high-five today after aufing one of my favourite lines. The second floor of the office has a meeting room where a woman leaves her pushbike all day. Someone needed to use the room today and asked her to move it, so as she wheeled it out through the main office I hit my colleagues with: "Anyone expecting a telegram?!"

The smartphone-obsessed whippersnapper twitterheads stared at me blankly, probably thinking "What's a telegram?"

Just checked in to a hotel on the outskirts of southampton, there's barely a car on the road. I couldnt resist aufing the receptionist with "hey is there anywhere to go aroond here?" but i think i put too much nev style accusation into it cos he didn't look very happy

Went whale watching while in Iceland last week. All sailings had been cancelled for the previous day and a half due to the bad weather, so ours was the first to go out. But the sea was still pretty rough and loads on the boat were seasick. As each new person headed to the back of the boat, it allowed me to turn to the Mrs and announce "I dont think he's found his sea legs yet, Dennis"
