Watching Pointless last night, one of the questions was, about actors in either the Magificent 7 or Reservoir Dogs. As any member of the Magnificent 7 was mentioned, I would give a running commentary, much to the bemusement of Hedley Junior.

Contestant: "Horst Bucholz"
Me: "He was the youngest and best looking"

Contestant: "Steve McQueen"
Me: "oh, hang on, I forgot about him"

That sort of thing

I was in the shower this morning when my 4-year-old knocked on the door looking for his little cousin, who's staying over. "Dad where's Adrian?" he said. "Well he's not in here with me," I shot back.
He never laughed at it neither, like.
From now on I'm sticking to a worse type of bird.

Texting a friend yesterday, she happened to mention that she was off work next week so I asked if she was going away. She said no, not his time, but was going away in the October half term to Menorca. So, of course, I had to ask "Where is it, Menorca?" but, sadly, she wasn't playing along.

I've been doing some painting at work, and it is still a bit wet. So I've been telling people that pass by it "don't touch the paintwork, it's not quite dry yet."

Actually got one in tonight!

In the supermarket, they had a bag of 'kartoffeln something' in the freezer section. My youngest daughter is the fussiest eater imaginable, so my wife was wondering if she'd like it.

I wanders over..."what's Bombay kartoffeln?..."

Straight over her bonce.....

Got one in though!!

The missus and I have been painting the bedroom today. As we were setting up this morning I said, "Right, I'll have my bit pink."

She looked baffled :?

Aufed a little kid today. The three year old from the flat next door came in while I was in the hallway. The dear little thing can't quite talk yet but she gives it a good go. She said to me what sounded like 'she she shoo' so I replied: 'Oh aye, that's easy for you to say.' Her mum laughed! DL

Before I walked the dog this morning my daughter asked me if I had any poo bags. I replied with, "oh, I've got a pocket full of them!"
