Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
I think we should try and turn this into a You Tube tv show, like 'Youve Been Framed' only with unsuspecting members of the public or fans even, getting the correct reply to the quotes, just like your youngest did....

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
How aboot 'Your've been Auf'd !' I gotta one this morning. The boss came over and asked if I could be back at work this afternoon, 2.30. So I 'Auf'd' him with, "Oh what is it this time, a union meeting ?!"

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
Heheh, I like it! Nice idea.
I posted this one on imdb one time but no harm repeating here - about a year ago I had a new recruit at work who had a pretty torrid start. Handing out the payslips after the first month I auf'd him with: "There ya go Mark, that makes it all worthwhile eh? Forst pay packet."
By the way, whoever posted that "yuv bashed all the wing in mun" story deserves some kind of award

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
If ever I'm asked if something's alright, I'll always say 'seems alreet' in the style of Oz receiving his severance pay from Herr Grunwald...

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
That would be great... especially unkown to you they turned out to be fans as well, and the pair of you just reeled the scripts off, the way Harry and Oz did songs when they realised they were both Merle Haggard fansAuf Wiedersehen, Pet wrote:I think we should try and turn this into a You Tube tv show, like 'Youve Been Framed' only with unsuspecting members of the public or fans even, getting the correct reply to the quotes, just like your youngest did....

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
Got a great one in this morning. Had to reprimand a young temp for a minor infringement, but I happened to be on the phone (on never-ending hold) when he popped his head round the door saying "shall I come back?". I'm sure you can guess my reply - "No no no, you get yourself in here right now", in a (pretty poor) Scottish accent.
Needless to say, I was well chuffed.

I think I went a bit far. Him & 6 mates are now heading to the East Midlands to do up a fictitious manor house.

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
I'm gonna have to be more brave, and start using Auf phrases in public, see what happens.....

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
If only the temp was a AufPet fan, he could have come back with "look if I'm in for a caning here, then fine, but don't milk it!"

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
I aufed my GP today! Had to go in for a review of an ongoing condition and he asked me if I was still getting the same pains as before...
"Yep - the pains, the fever. The whole nine yards."
