DVD disappointment

Post by Ally Frasers clubs » Fri Dec 28, 2012 2:35 pm

I was wondering what other people thought about the DVD's and more importantly the lack of extra's on them, series 1 and 2 have a few but series 3, 4 and the specials have none.
I'm also a fan of Dr Who (please don't judge :D ) and the DVD's 2Entertain bring out for the Doctor are jam packed with extra's.
Am I just being too picky?
I'm hoping one day that they will bring out remastered DVD's with loads of extra's but for the time being I will keep myself busy on this site with its great content.

I am now wondering if a BluRay set will be brought out, seeing as the original Minder series, or some of it is now available on BluRay....

I Said on the old forum that a 30th anniversary dvd release would be apt, full of extras.
What Lee & Tim have found in the last few months would also add to what could be a great dvd release.

Campaign??

I know the person who was in charge, I am friends with him on Facebook, but he said in his latest message, that he's sorry but he cannot help anymore, as he is retired etc.
He was a really nice guy, but I think its time to leave him alone in peace, and start hassling someone else....

If only it was that easy... i'd love to go and re-film all the locations i did for a program or something... Next video will be fun to do though.. especially if Steve Howard gets me to Chatterley's... The pain in the arse one after that is the Dennis and Oz layby.... Question is do these Campaign's do any good if we did do one?

Carlton would of disolved after all the regional networks came under the itv name
Maybe an email to itv would work better.

Don't know if members of this forum would be of help? There are members on there who work/worked in the television industry.I only go on there occassionally.

I have sent a few Emails out over the weekend, to people in charge of catalouged shows. I will keep you informed, it could be end of this week before I hear anything...

I am very confident of hearing something back...
