its hard to pick a single character because they all are great and have their own personalities, but i think if i had to pick one BARRY might just be my fav. his out look to life is just right, but OZ and his carefree attitude also gets my vote. :P :P

As said above all seven together worked so well. If I had to pick a favourite has to be Oz, or Wayne, or Dennis, or Nev, or Barry, or Bomb or Moxey.

Didn't look all that cool when Oz pushed his face in the mud in Love and Other Four Letter Words mind.

He actually hurt or even cracked a few ribs doing that scene, as Jimmy threw him a touch too hard. I cannot remember where I read this.

My favourite is defo Barry, I love how he starts as a radish in series 1 & 2 then by 3 he is a high flyer but by 4 and the special he has went full circle back to his old vulnerable self!

Love them all (apart from that annoying bar steward Neville) and my preferences change whenever I re-watch episodes.
For years I would have said oz without hesitation. Especially in the second series where he comes into his own. I'm thinking of the scene in the clothes shop just prior to them flying out to Spain - where he's looking for a suit jacket and scoffs "who's ever heard of an Italian paratrooper like?"
I also love watching him with the tie, tossing it to one side after examining it in the mirror.
Another favourite is Barry. Such a nerd but likeable and an absolute roar.
Wayne too. Some class quips. Womaniser, and always seems to have a boat load of cash at his disposal.
Has anyone ever thought it was a little weird how the lads leave Wayne deserted at that pit stop, but when they arrive at the site he's conveniently staying in their hut too. And there's never any mention of it in the dialogue...

^^^^^ Wayne got a lift with the lorry driver, overtaking them when they had broken down. It's then when he says to them 'see ya in church.'

Haha yeah i know about Wayne getting the lorry. When Neville reckons the sump's dropped off, even though he's the least mechanical person ever.
I just meant there's no mention of Wayne happening to stay in the same hut when the lads arrive. It stands to reason that with him being late too, he wouldn't have had much choice, but you would have thought there was some banter or a quick line as to how he ended up there too.
Just a thought really...
