OK; Nev's last night in Dusseldorf so Dennis and Oz take him to the boozer. They walk in and 'Expose' are doing 'Dont Stand So Close To Me'. Must have been their extended version as they're still playin it what must have been 10 minutes later ! The bar crowd must have been so bored by it, when they do stop, it takes a good couple of seconds before we hear any applause. Mind, they could have done it and the crowd may have loved it so much, they had to do it ageen. But I doont think its meant to come across that way loike !

watched this episode last night, not seen it in years. Not really noticed any blunders was to wrapped up in the story.
But next time I shall try and look more closely, I did wonder what happened to Oz's car after they left it on the road...
Does it appear later in the series? cus I can't remember....

I wonder if it was really knackered, be a bad idea to use a clapped out old car, for filming etc :lol:

I've always wondered what happened to the Zephyr. I mean did they just dump it there never to be seen again or did they get in touch with someone so that it could have been town away?

The Magnificent 7 shades of green;
The Zephyr dies beside the green fields with green grass and green trees. Oz stands there in his green t-shirt and green trousers while Dennis asks him about the green card. Then when Wayne rides comfortably away in the truck, Nev is green with envy.

The car was apparently ok when production got it, they had to make it look knackered for what they wanted i heard..

Reet, I'm starting the lot from the beginning! I never do this, and can honestly say I never have gone from start to finish...

Anyway I'm 6 minutes into S1E1, and noticed a couple of things. The crew used a Blue Citroen estate car for filming, we have pics of Gerry Elms hanging out of the sunroof with a camera. When the lads come off the ferry, a Blue Citroen estate car is following them. Could it be the one? Trying to confirm, plus possible driver.

I've also noticed a bloke sitting behind Oz in the cafe they talk about Menorca, and he's wearing the exact same colour green t-shirt. I mean how popular was that shade of green in the early 80's?
