First of all, I would like to say thanks to the admin team for awarding me the 'Best Newcomer' Award. I appreciate this very much

HOWEVER...
As you know I have been working quite hard for y'all, so here are the things I am currently upto:
* As you may know, I got in contact with the Television New Zealand Footage Department to see if they any old promos or interview tapes with the cast but I came to a dead end which was a shame...
* I have just contacted Archives New Zealand via telephone (I felt I wasn't getting anywhere with the email) in regards to the item that was discussed under the topic "A Could Be Complaint Made Against Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" on General Chat and I have discovered yes, Miss Bartlett did file a complaint to TVNZ on the grounds of breaching broadcasting standards for a particular episode of AWP. I will still have to pay $NZD25.00 to get a copy of the item (and the $25 only covers 20 pages, more than 20 pages and I'll be forking out more....

* I have been in contact with the National Library of New Zealand in regards to an item of theirs by the Dominion Post of Wellington where an issue featured an article of photographs collected by the Dominion Post between 1979-1984 of old tv shows in NZ and overseas - including: Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Are You Being Served? and many more. I have received an email from a contact down there with low-res photos of the AWP gang which I will let the admin team look at in due course....
* I have been in contact with Antiques Roadshow regarding if the team have done an episode at Beesthorpe Hall (Thornley Manor). I received a reply back saying that they haven't so I requested (if it can be done or not) that a show be done at Beesthorpe Hall providing that the owners give permission, etc...
So that's what I have been up to lately! To AWP Tim Corsa, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, RHill: Do you chaps have Skype? I need to speak to one of you guys in regards to tidying up some copyright stuff with BBC/ITV if you want to go ahead with the photos from the National Library of New Zealand.
So till then,
Cherrio!!
