I'm quite happy being mother for the time being, nor grandmother yet......Breaking Away wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2017 12:24 amYou ask your lad if he needs something for the weekend? Very responsible. Well done mother

My Max has now been working on the shop floor cutting hair as an actual barber at the age of 16 for the last month. The main boss said he's so good that max is now barbering full time in the Bromsgrove branch of UK Barbers cutting hair and has clients coming in requesting him. He has put his haircuts on Instagram and got headhunted by a high class barbers who wanted to poach him but i said he has to finish his two year training and then the world's his oyster. Let's all big up our young uns! S proud of my son x

Well done the Max. Have you let him loose on your head Lou? And perhaps something for the weekend too....

Re: You've made your father(and mother) very proud, son.
Aye he gives my split ends the odd trim, as I'm growing my Barnet at the moment.

Just an update because I am so proud and love to tell people , max got head hunted by a barbers called the barber lab, who were trained by David beckhams barber Aidie Phelan. Max is now working there and doing really well. On the booking list and had a load of clients follow him to the new shop. He ram the shop single handed yesterday as the boss was ill. So proud of my little man

Good on him
How much does a haircut cost these days Lou at his shop?
Last time I had a haircut was in 1993 at a place in Annan near Gretna Green, real old type place.
A quick all over with cutter / trimmer without guard, must have been in the chair 3 minutes max.
Nearly fell over when he asked for a fiver!!
