Gary sleeping or unconscious

Just watching the Drama Connections and near the end (28.34 mins) when all the lads are sitting in Nevilles house and Brenda comes out of the kitchen to speak to them about Oz's son, Gary is out of it sitting on the setee, either sleeping or unconscious. Never noticed that before.

It's odd, because moments before in the episode he's wide awake......

I always just thought it was in the script. He got bored with the conversation so he dozes off like ! Still, does seem a bit strange though.

I dont think he is acting, his mouth is open catching flies....

Im sure if he was asleep that the cast and crew wouldn't of minded.

I'd go with Gary falling a sleep. Since he had no lines in that scene maybe the crew just thought it was easier to leave him like that instead of waking him up and having him look disorientated.

Probably in the script or was there on set stuff going on round that time

I think its a bit of both.. Knackered from filming and whatever else that went on at the time, with no lines they left it in to get the scene finished maybe..
