Love the scene where McGowan tells Barry he will blow gravel up poor Pfisters jacksie ! Barry's reply is magic, "... ofcourse you could always take a hard line !"

Re: Thank you Howard
The site plan amazing stuff Howard. There is so much detail. It really is brilliant how you've linked the scenes.
I've got a question here...
The first scene when Grunwald comes out of the green hut, I always thought it was the front entrance and the admin office but it's from the rear of the site. Where is the green hut then that Grunwald comes out of?
Cheers.

Thanks for your kind words @Breaking Away:
There are two green admin huts - one in Norderstedt, Hamburg and one in Elstree Studios, Borehamwood.
The very first scene where Dennis, Oz and Neville arrive on site and meet Herr Grunwald for the first time was filmed in Norderstedt, Hamburg (refer to page 3, fact #21). Position W on aerial image 40 marks the precise filming location of this opening scene. Also refer to fact #26, image 49a for more info on the magic of television!

There most certainly is! Click 'Set Building #3' (no.3) on the main plan. Then click position K.
The 'historic art value' has been captured to perfection on image 2 of 3! Enjoy!

Re: Thank you Howard
So have I got this correct? We see the lads going through the main entrance and meeting Grunwald at the admin hut at Norderstedt. But then in Elstree, instead of filming the lads making their way from the admin hut to hut B, they film them walking from the rear of the site to hut B?Howard Radcliffe wrote:Breaking Away wrote:The site plan amazing stuff Howard. Re: Thank you Howard
You’ve got it!
After speaking to Herr Grunwald the lads are seen walking into the site in Norderstedt to find their ‘hut’. The next time you see them they’re on English soil walking past the Turks hut before meeting Bomber! You can see the direction/route they take at Elstree on the episode guide here: http://www.awpet.com/s1e1.html

Re: Thank you Howard
Cheers Howard. I saw the route they took on your post yesterday, and that's why I originally questioned whether there were two green huts on the Beco site. Still trying to get my head around the fact that Beco dosen't actually exist, and it's two sets. It's like finding out Santa Claus doesn't exist. I wonder why when filming at Elstree they didn't walk them from the main entrance to their hut?
