More great stuff Howard. In interest, how did you find out about the Buckhorner Moor location?

The area (Norderstedt) is identified within the filming locations section on this site. Pin pointing the actual building location takes a bit of digging though. By piecing individual scenes from one particular location together we know which scenes were filmed where.

By studying bing maps, google earth, lines of sight, sun patterns, analysing the construction methods, roof pitches and colours it is possible to pin point a location.

As a general rule; whenever you see a red tiled roof - filming took place off 'Buckhorner Moor’, Norderstedt.

Whenever we see structural steel columns and beams - filming took place off 'Heidbergstraße', Norderstedt.

And when we see concrete tiled roofs, terrace houses and wriggly tin industrial buildings - filming took place in at 'Elstree Studios'!

Work of art Howard ! I have often wondered aboot when the hut burned doon. There would need to be permission from the fire brigade and neighbouring council ? Neighbours must have had a bostin evening !
