Barry’s Bike! What happened to it?!
I know many of you, mainly Motorbike fans want to know what happened to the Triumph Motorbike that was ridden by Tim Spall in the first series of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Well, finally the question can be answered and the history of the bike can be laid to rest, sort of. I asked Shane Spall on Twitter if it was true about Tim buying the bike, and still having it hidden away. This was her reply.“He bought the bike, fell off broke his wrist and sold it to Tim Woodward who had it nicked out of his garden.” Now we know. This registration was first registered during the period August
1970 to July 1971. First registered in London.
Where is it now? - I searched the internet and asked around, but no
one knew anything about this bike, so I went to the source, and asked
Shane and Tim Spall!. Here is what Shane Spall told me about the
Motorbike, “He (Tim) bought the bike, fell off, broke his wrist & sold it
to Tim Woodward who had it nicked out of his garden....”
