The Sans Souci

In Series 2 of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet Kenny Ames was the smooth talking ‘Porn Merchant’ who lived in Marbella to escape from  the British Police. Kenny had a Yacht in Marbella called the Sans Souci mostly used for, in his words ‘pissing about the port in it  with a few birds’. This Yacht was used in many scenes during the final couple of episodes, and this magnificent looking Yacht is  still alive and kicking! The boat is called ‘Five Angels’ and the name was simply covered up in the show using vinyl stickers.  © The images and text are copyright of awpet.com and are not to be used or copied without permission

The final picture to the left was taken by Head Cameraman Gerry Elms during filming of  the final episode, and you can see the name ‘Five Angels’ before the vinyl ‘Sans Souci’  stickers were placed over the name, ‘Five Angels’. Many thanks to Lesley Saint-John for her help.
